Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Rashid Mohamed Rashid meets today with his Russian counterpart Viktor Khristenko, who is heading a high-profile delegation, comprising major Russian companies, on an official visit to Egypt.

"The visit is part of the strategic dialogue between Egypt and Russia. Discussions will focus on boosting economic and trade," Rashid said, adding that signing a long-term wheat import agreement with Russia will also top the agenda. The two officials will discuss a free trade agreement between the two countries.
